I was in my room getting ready for my date today, I couldn't figure out what to wear. Finally I decided on a pale pink tank and jean shorts. I ran downstairs, hoping to find some acccerories. I didn't, but the phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Steph?" Joce said
"Yeah, it's me. Why you calling?"
"About this date we're going on today, are you nervous?"
"No, I can't wait to go on a date with Nick again. Why? Are you?"
"Very, I have a huge crush on Lekan." She said
"Oh, well don't be so nervous! He's really nice!" I reassured her.
"Steph! Let me remind you that you're not the one going on a date today with two guys you hardly even know."
"I know that but come on Joce, Nick and Lekan, they're real nice guys."
"That's why I like Lekan so much!"
"Okay, look I gotta go, Nick's here. We'll be at you're place in a while."
"Fine, bye." Joce said and hung up. I went to answer the door and Nick came in.
"Hey, who were you talking to?" He asked.
"Joce, she's a bit nervous. Is Lekan with you?"
"Yeah, he's in the car."
"Well then let's go!" I said and we rushed out to the car. We got into the car and Lekan greeted us. I was so excited to go on a date with Nick! The last time we went out was like, before the tour. That was a long time ago. We got into the car and Nick drove us to Joce's place. I went inside to get her. "Joce! come on!" I yelled through her house.
"I'm coming. How do I look?" She asked. She looked great, in a tight black t-shirt and flare jeans.
"Joce! You look great!"
"Good, I hope that Lekan likes it!"
"Uh huh, whatever, let's go!" I said. We walked outside and I could almost see Lekan, drool over her outfit. Good Sign. I thought to myself. Joce got into the backseat with me and Lekan was sitting in the front with Nick.
"Steph." Joce whispered.
"What?" I whispered back.
"Ask your boyfriend-what's his name? Nick, to tell us where we're going!" She looked at me.
"Hey Nick?" I asked
"Yes?"
"Where are we going?"
"To the Forks. Lekan and I thought that it would be cool, if we all shopped around and then we ate lunch at the food court."
"Cool idea!" Joce said, I looked at her strangely for a minute. That was just like Joce, be all shy on the first day but then turn into her normal self on the next.
"Whoa! Miss quiet speaks!" Nick said, and him and Lekan started laughing.
"Yeah, you'll be sorry I ever did! I have real good insults guys!" She said and then we started laughing.
"It's true!" I said in between giggles "She does!" After that we pulled into a parking space and got out of Nick's car.
