Behavior: The Common Dolphin if usually found in large and active schools. When they start jumping and splashing they can be seen as well as heard from an ample distance. These dolphins will bunch tightly together when they are frightened. They are fast, energetic, and acrobatic swimmers. This dolphin species is highly vocal and their dives can last up to approximately 8 minutes.
