Behavior:
This highly inquisitive and usually easy to approach dolphin seems to enjoy
contact with boats as well as people. They eagerly ride bow waves and may leap a dozen times in
a row. Usually when one animal will start jumping, the others in the group will join in and do it
too.

In coastal temperate waters of New Zealand, Southern Africa, and South
America.
