Ratbone's Triumph

This bike was owned by Bill Rathbone,but he's since sold it to some girl to finance a Magna or smegma or something.It's basically stock but it does have a mid 70's Suzuki front end with dual disks.

We started out by ditching the stock frame for an old rigid I had laying around.we basically set out to replace the frame and tank for now to get him back on the road quick.That's ANT providing tech support.The Frame had a bolt on Hardtail that had been welded on.

This is how it rolled out the first time.It still has the 18" rear wheel and a tire that looks like it was made for an old Army Jeep but it got him through the Summer. The next thing we did was convert over to a 16" rim by lacing a Harley rim to the Triumph hub with a spoke kit from British Cycle Supply.This enabled us to mount some modern Rubber.It also "stretches" the bike a little visually. We fit a new flat rear fender and kept it close to the tire and mounted a mustang seat for a rigid Harley,I guess he didnt like that bitchin springer seat.Anyway this is the finished product as he sold it to a girl named "BONNY" a few days later.
