Band Line Up
The picture is of Jonathan & Jose. Sweener is a local Toronto band. The have played some shows around Toronto at places like The 360, The Big Bop and Ted's Wrecking Yard. They also preformed on one of Jonovision's Jonopoloza episodes for a battle of the bands contest. Standings for that show which were determined by the audience were: #1 Jimmy Allens Aunt Farm, #2 Eu4oria, #3 Sweener, #4 Tuuli, and #5 Kosima.
Sweeer has done quite a few shows lately. To find out about upcomming Sweener shows check the shows page or Sweener's home page. They were also on Open Mike with Mike Bullard on February 14th 2000. They sang the Food Song and Mike did a short interview Jose. They played the Parkdale Then & Now Festival in June 2000. It was Downtown Toronto at the corner of Queen and Sorauren. You can buy the Food Songs cd, which is a cd of various artists and all the songs are about, you guessed it food, for $10. You can also get Sweener's Car Tape Demo at one of their shows for $5.
