The JAG Corps. sim is set in the 24th Century timeline. If todays date is November 11, 2001, then the current sim date is November 11, 2387.

Unless otherwise mentioned, the JAG sim takes place on Earth, mainly in Falls Church, Virginia (The current headquarters of the JAG Corps.) with plots taking place on Starbases, Ships and planets.

The Judge Advocate General's Corps. is a cross betwee the CBS Series, JAG and Star Trek. In a few Next Generation episodes, the Starfleet JAG Corps. has been mentioned, as well as other Star Trek series. The little known division of Starfleet that uphold Starfleet Military Law on Earth, ships and member worlds. The scenario is simple... whenever Starfleet personnel breaks Federation law, it's the responsibility of the JAG Corps. to defend and prosecute the accused... usually by a trial, or Courts-Martial. A Courts-Martial is usually in front of a judge and a jury. Some Courts-Martials may take place in front of a pannel of judges without a jury, depending on the severity of the charges.

Members of the JAG Corps are always free to create their own plots and sub-plots for cases, or introduce NP Characters. On certain cases, most of the membership will be involved in some way or another in cases, called 'assignments.' Posts are sent in the below format:

[Administrative Building - JAG Headquarters]

When Cdr. Sylvelle came out of the meeting with Gordon, she made her way to the engineering department and had the JAG runabout, USS Chegwidden readied, and then went to security and had a 6 man detail dispatched to the shuttlepad.

Crawford got up from his chair and went to see Adm. Croft, asking him for an arrest warrant for Cpt. Swofford. Gordon didn't need to convince the admiral to issue one. Sexual assault on a Starfleet officer was a serious offence. Gordon did add a few more lesser charges to the warrant, but in reality, he didn't need to.

Leaving the admiral's office with the PADD, Gordon made his way to the Chegwidden. He was two blocks from it when he saw the security detail arrive. Walking up to the Chegwidden, Crawford handed LCdr. Sylvelle the PADD with the warrant on it. "Don't forget this, commander." Gordon said, smiling.

[USS Chegwidden - JAG Shuttlepad]

"Thank you, commander. I thought you were here to join us." Sylvelle replied.

"I'd love to be there when you hand him the warrant, Tricia, but I can't." Gordon thought to himself that this would be the highlight of his career, to serve a serving line officer with an arrest warrant.

Crawford shook Sylvelle's hand and stood back as the crew boarded the River II-class runabout. In a few seconds, the ship lifted off and headed for Grid 23, Section 4902 where the USS Forrestal was last reported to be.

Crawford turned to walk back to his office and tried to contact Cdr. Cameron. He was surprised that she answered his signal. Gordon explained to her what the current situation was with the case, and she seemed to understand. Crawford didn't know for sure if she trusted him more, but only time would tell this time. Gordon just hoped that he wouldn't regret this.

Crawford sat behind his desk and finished off some miscellaneous paperwork for the rest of the morning. He needed to make a trip to San Francisco pretty soon to meet personally with Cdr. Cameron. The information Ensign Maple gave Gordon and Sylvelle was a real shock to them both. They never expected Maple to do something like this. After all this, Gordon was going to recommend Ens. Jennifer Maple receive a departmental citation... he knew that all the hard work she puts in for the division, she well deserved one.

[USS Chegwidden - Somewhere in the Terran System]

LCdr. Sylvelle walked over to the controls and sat down behind a panel. "Lieutenant, open a channel to the USS LCol. William G. Barker, VC." She asked.

"Aye, sir." The lieutenant said, running his hands over the panel to open a channel to the Barker. "Channel open, sir."

Sylvelle nodded. "This is Lieutenant Commander Tricia Sylvelle, of the JAG Runabout, USS Chegwidden... we are enroute to Grid 23, Section 4902 in the Alpha Quadrant to intercept the Federation Starship USS Forrestal." Sylvelle paused and then continued, "We request your assistance, Barker."

"What kind of assistance do you require, Chegwidden?" Captain Sherridan asked.

"We require fire-support, captain... should the USS Forrestal decides to open fire on us. We wouldn't last long against her." Sylvelle said.

"No, I don't think you would, commander." Sherridan nodded, "Very well. We'll rendezvous with you at these coordinates," Sherridan tapped in the coordinates that the Barker and the Chegwidden would meet. "See you there, Chegwidden. Barker out."

The screen went dead and the long ride to the coordinates would take about 12 hours to complete.
