This SM QH stallion has been painted lacy black overo. Adored this pattern when I first found it, and the QH was the logical choice to wear it. Still can't believe how nice he turned out-pardon the untouched tail...

The foal of this pair, shown quite a ways before completion, is owned by Mary-Ann Jantz. The mare has more subtle markings, they are not as knife edge as they look here.
