You crawl on your belly over the rocks for several hundred yards before the ceiling gets high enough for you to get off your hands and knees. You see a bright spot at the end of the passage. It opens into a room with a dirt floor. There's nothing much in the room but rats and bug infested boxes. There is a makeshift wooden staircase leading up.

You walk gingerly into the room and look around. It is a bedroom with a bed, and a closet. All you find under the bed is a broomstick. You hear the noise coming from the closet. You creep over to the closet, the broomstick clinched in the white-knuckle grip of your hands. You yank the door open with flourish, ready to beat something to death. You look down, and at your feet is a small puppy wagging its tale. You drop the broomstick. The puppy barks and puts its paws on your legs. You bend down to pick it up, but as you touch it, it begins to glow. Then it begins to communicate with you telepathicly.

Run away from the freak of nature!

Hear what the puppy has to say.

You leap off of the cot--well, you try to. Your big toes are tied to the foot of the cot. You fall face down onto the cold metal floor, and the cot smacks you on the back of the head. You hear an amused laugh from the person in the room. He says,"Hahaha! I love doing that to people." You roll over and see a large figure wearing a shiny jumpsuit looming over you. He has a silly smile on his face. "I'm Captain Jarrod. Welcome to my space ship, the JSS Everett."

You walk out of the atrium and press on through the dark, dank passages. You don't know how long you've been walking or how far you've gone before you reach a dead end. You're too tired to go back. Even if you weren't tired, you're dressed for hiking in the desert, not spelunking, and you would probably die of hypothermia before you made it back. You can:

Collapse against the wall and pout.

Look for another way out.

As it moves from the shadows, the figure takes shape--the shape of a giant lizard! The lizard smirks at you and says,"Well, well, well. We meet again." He picks you up in his hand-things and holds you right up next to his face. "You don't remember me, do you? Well, maybe you'd remember me better if I were in a small, airtight box or a glass jar or taped down to a make-shift operating table or stuffed in a pocket or...or... [all the while, the lizard is squeezing harder]...or if I were wearing make up and fingernail polish! Yes, now you remember me. Ha, looks like there's been a role reversal, huh?"

Say,"I have no idea what you are talking about."

Say,"Oh, I'm so sorry. Please accept my heartfelt apology."

You look up to see that the attacker is Sydney Bristow. While you're lying on the floor, still kind of stunned, she looks at the machine and says,"This isn't the Rambaldi device. This is the Billy device!" And with that said, she jumps out of the window and parachutes to safety. Still lying on the floor, you see a piece of paper under the table.

Trying frantically to find a way out before your air supply is used up, you trip and hit your head on the steps. You lie there unconcious, for how long, you don't know. Gradually, you awake, and as your eyes are adjusting, you see that you're now in a shiny metal room. You are lying on a cot in the center of the room, and there is a bright light directly above you. You hear someone enter the room. Do you:

Jump up and attack the person

Wait patiently to see what happens

You walk over to the boxes, and the rats scatter as you approach. You brush off the rat and insect droppings, and open one of the top boxes. Inside, you find nothing but packing peanuts. All of the boxes are all full of packing peanuts, so you dump all the peanuts onto the floor. You figure that if you're going to die down here, you might as well have fun. You are down to the last box. But this one isn't filled with peanuts. You find a necklace with an amulet shaped like a packing peanut. There is also a note.

You open the door at the far end of the room. You step inside what looks like a small portable. The wall to your right is lined with lockers and to your left, there is a classroom. A small group of students is having class, and they all looked up from their books as you stepped through the doorway. The teacher says,"It's about time you showed up. We were just about to begin reading 'Antigone.' Take a seat. You will be reading the part of King Creon."

You grab the cowskull off the floor, and it feels heavier than you expected it to. You look inside and see a small LED light blinking where the eye used to be. Upon turning the skull over, you see a plastic device with a timer that has already counted down to 30 seconds.
"29, 28"
It's a bomb! Thanks to that summer when your parents sent you to CIA camp, you learned exactly how to disarm a bomb like this.
"23, 22"
Now if only you could remember.
"18, 17"
In an adrenaline rush, it all comes back to you, and the timer stops at "08."

You pick up the old and slightly yellowed paper. Upon unfolding it, you see that it is a set of blueprints for the machine on the table. You notice a watermark in the paper. Holding it up to the light, you see a note. It reads,"This device will someday be used in dance clubs and discotheques all around the world. Signed, Billy Rambaldi, second cousin of Milo Rambaldi." You take the device home. Antiques dealers aren't too thrilled with it, but it becomes a cultural phenomenon overnight. You sell reproductions of it to dance clubs and discos all around the world. You become filthy rich and live out the rest of your days in a huge, extravagantly furnished mansion.

As soon as you lay your hand on the honky tonk piano, you are transported to Athens, Alabama. You are in a small, stinky, poorly lit bar playing for a group of sad, drunk people. Of course, they're not listening to you. Their eyes are glued to the TV, watching Yanni in concert on, live from the Acropolis. When you get too loud, they throw onion rings at you. So begins your new life as a pub pianist.

You pick up the note. It is written in a beautiful, flowing cursive script.
"You are now the keeper of the sacred amulet of the packing peanut. When worn, this amulet will allow you to pass through mystical peanut portals that occur wherever there are packing peanuts. The portals will take you anywhere you want to go. Remember to use the power that has been bestowed upon you, the power of the packing peanut, for good!" You put on the necklace, and the pile of packing peanuts begins to glow blue and sink into the ground. Inside the hole, colors swirl and shimmer. The portal is opened! You fall for a while in total darkness until you land in a shallow pool of water. Lizards lounging on rocks scurry way as you splash and carry on, trying to get your bearings. You're bruised and in pain, but nothing seems to be broken. You realize that you're in a pool of water, near some rocks under a heat lamp. A few brave lizards have started to venture back onto the rocks, dipping their tales into the water. You see your reflection when you look past the lizards. You're in a large, glass terrerium. The terrerium is on a table in a large cave.
