I always thought that "links" pages were kinda worthless. I mean, I never wanted to waste time looking at a page full of links that some loser I don't even know thought were worth pasting onto a dorky little background. Well, that's what this is, believe it or not. But with this important difference--I'm not a loser...well, I guess that depends on your definition of a loser. Actually, it's because I hand-picked these from my internet travels. So you're asking,"what's so great about your hand-picking?" Well, I have high standards and a short attention span, which, coupled with my innate weirdness, makes me perfect for finding cool things on the internet. you won't find any crappy personal pages about Jennifer Love Hewitt here. Prepare to be entertained, amused, or inspired. Prepare to enter Ducky's Web Surf!

Ducky's Favs

these are just some sites i enjoy. you may or may not. i just like these, mostly because they are weird and/or useful.

Webmonkey--Webmonkey is _the_ site for learning just about everything you wanted to know about websites & the internet. Check out the hideout for some weirdness (scroll down to "Pranks and Miscellany").

Internet Movie Database--Ever seen someone in a movie and just knew that you had seen them in another movie but couldn't remember which one? This is the place to go. Complete filmographies, goofs, message boards, quotes, and a whole lot of useless things you probably never needed to know.

Eyewire--I like the "magazine" section of this site. It just a neat way to get inspired.

Jason Cook--A blog by a guy that just moved to Italy. I feel like I've been somewhere after I read it. Also has really good travel pictures on his other site, stormfield.net.

Apple--Last but certainly not least, a wonderful place to go to experience the glitz and power of the world's most powerful personal computer, among other things Don't forget to check out the G5 introduction video!

Adobe Studio Exchange--Where to go if you want some of the best (and free!) Photoshop actions. I nearly wet myself when I first found this.

Bare Bones Guide to HTML--I was first introduced to the cold world of coding with this site. The best HTML guide out there, IMHO.

Acronym Finder--Where to go if you don't know what "IMHO" or any other acronym means.

Dictionary.com--I go here a lot. Not as fun to flip through as a real college dictionary, but wonderful for quick look-ups.

the digital bounty

here we go, folks

Create-A-Ride--Create a car that's off da heezy. Word. Click here for version 2.0.

City Creator--My sister loves making cute little cities. If you like making cute little cities, click the link.

Sodaplay--The soda constructor is weird, yet scientifically intriguing. Heck, even the little icons are fun to play with.

Shakespeare Poetry Machine--Takes words from Shakespeare's works and lets you rearrange them magnetic-poetry-style into your own poems.

Mini-Mizer--Make a Lego version of yourself, or what you would like yourself to be. :c)

Alphabet Synthesizer Machine--Helps you create the alphabet of your own imaginary civilazation and even turns it into a font!

Ekpurosis--Really weird. Colors. Lines. Sound. Motion. In a word, trippy. I was kind of worried about subliminal messages, though. For some strange reason, I feel like going back to that site... :c)

The Lair of the Marrow Monkey--Sounds weirder than it really is. But it's still weird. It's a sci-fi story with narration and sound and trippy interactive colors and shapes and an inthralling storyline. You just have to see it. I liked the "Chroma" story the best.

The Dialectizer--Lets you change any webpage into dialects like Cockney, Pig Latin, Hacker, Swedish Chef, and my favorite, Redneck! Fry mah hide!

smalltime.com--I go here a lot if I'm feeling bored. I like to play Guess the Dictator/Sitcom Character.

Snowcraft--A cute snowball fight game. It's uber-fun. You get to hurl snowballs at small children. But it's OK though, because you're a small child too, and they snort at you when you lose.

Lee's Useless Superhero Generator--A fun random generator that creates superheros or villains and their weapons, powers, and transportation, too. It's really funny.

The Home of Seldom Used Words--I find this interesting, which means the rest of the world probably doesn't. Check it out, you might learn something. :c)

Christian's & Scott's Interactive Top Ten Lists--Like Top Ten Lists? This is the place to go. Reloading gives you a new list. You can even contribute, or you can just browse through every list since 1996.

strange, but interesting

Hobo Signs--Somewhere I remember reading something about hobos having a system of signs to communicate. This site lists just about all of them, I assume.

Project Cryo--If you've ever wanted to cryogenically freeze a Lego person in your mouse, this is the page for you. Weird, yes, but eerily intriguing...
