06/08/02- As of today, Sepultura is near completion of their upcoming cover E.P. Expect them announcing a late 2002 release date, then shortly after changing it to a early 2003 release.

03/06/02-A DVD featuring Sepultura's three previous video releases is scheduled to come out sometime later this year through Roadrunner/Def Jam. In other release news the "Live At Brixton" Double CD has been slated for an August 27th release.
27/05/02-Ratta produced three songs for the band Skullsick Nation. Later this year they are scheduled to have some more music produced by Ratta.
27/05/02-Soulfly's first video will be for the song Seek and Strike. Nathan Cox is set as the director. The video will be filmed June 01 at Soulfly's rehearsal space.

10/04/02- Max's last ever show with Sepultura(December 16th, 1996) is in the process of being released by Roadrunner for August. The tentative title is Sepultura: Live at Brixton.

17/02/02- The new Soulfly album, Soulfly III:Enterfaith, has had it's release pushed back to an as of yet unknown June date.
13/02/02- Soulfly III:Enterfaith is the name of the new Soulfly album. The release date as of now is May 21st.
06/02/02- Ratta produced and played drums on a three song demo of the band Two Hit Creeper. Go to twohitcreeper.com to here two of them.
24/02/02- Ratta and Marcello are starting a side project with Puya guitarist Ramon Ortiz and Punch frontman Ikaro called Ankla. Marcello and Ratta will not be permanent members of the band, because of commitments to Soulfly, however they will be recording.
03/11/01- After all the contoversy around the situation it is now official that Ratta is the new drummer, at least for the new album. I'm not sure if he has left Medication or not, check back again for more details.
16/10/01- Max has recorded three new demo Soulfly songs. Entitled Downstroy, Enterfaith and I Will Refuse(Pail Head Cover). It has been confirmed that Max will be producing the new album. There is also rumors of Max remixing a RZA song. RR has posted that "word" has it that Soulfly is invited to play at the Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Plenty of Soulfly news coming up soon, check back for more updates.
10/10/01- The previous reports of Ratta rejoining Soulfly now seem to be false. Keep an eye out for upcoming details.
08/10/01- Joe Nunez has left Soulfly and is replaced by former Soulfly drummer Ratta. Joe is now playing with the Chicago band Stripping the Pistol. Prior rumors of Marcello's departure are, for now, false.
05/10/01- Rumours are floating around out there that Joe and Marcello could be leaving Soulfly. Joe's problems are about money, which are apparently so bad he had to move back in with is mom. Lets hope the tribe sticks together. I'll let you know if I here anything else.
25/09/01- Max is rumoreed to be producing the new Soufly CD. Don't take this too seriously though because these things usually end up being false.
04/09/01- Soulfly are back in action and apparently writing new material for an upcoming album. No news on a possible release date, yet. Sorry for the lack of updates recently... frankly nothing much is going on with Sepultura or Soulfly. I have had a really busy schedule lately. Now that I am getting settled I will update a lot more often, so come back soon.
08/08/01- Soulfly will be playing the fifth Annual D-LOW tribute memorial show. It will be held at Bash On Ash ,230 W. 5th St. Tempe, AZ on August 17th.

28/06/01- Soulfly's song Soulfly, will be on the video game Chain Smoke II, a motor-cross game.
05/05/01- Sepultura will not be playing any for the American festivals this year. There are plans of a South American tour though.
14/04/01- Bleed will be used in the trailer for the movie Driven. Not sure if it will be on the soundtrack.
09/04/01- Mulambo plays in the background for the commercial for the movie The Forsaken. Whether this means it will be on the soundtrack or not I do not know.

17/11/00- Sepultura have been cinfirmed to play in the famous Rock In Rio festival. Others on the festival include: Deftones and Mudvayne.
15/10/00- Nation's status as of today, Paulo is done all of the bass but one track, Bass Song. Andreas and Igor have completed the guitar and drum tracks, respectively. Derrick is currently recording vocals. Some of the guests have also recorded there parts. I figure that it will be due out sometime around January/February.
03/10/00- Rumour has it that on the Soulfly tour that is going on right now Marcello isn't playing bass. I believe it is because his wife had a baby.
26/09/00- PRIMITIVE IS OUT so buy it as soon as you can... even if you already have the album burnt.

10/09/00- Episode 4 of the Primitive Mini-series is up on Roadrunner's Website. It shows Soulfly getting ready to play live in Brasil then they play Bleed live.
06/09/00- Sepultura entered the studios today in Rio De Janeiro. The two official Sepultura sites got totally re-done and are now in flash. You can download Sepulnation live in .mov form from sepultribe.com or in .ram form from sepultura.com.br. I recommend the .ram file although they are both good. Come back often to see if there is any news on the upcoming album NATION.

01/09/00- Max will be on Much Music September 2nd at 11PM est. On August 12th The Much Music Program, Loud on at 11PM est will be doing Ozzfest coverage, so we may catch a glimpse of Soulfly on that too.

19/08/00- The first single off of Primitive will be Back to the Primitive, seeing as it is on Napster I am sure most of you have heard, they will be releasing a video for it in September, but it will be on radio staions in August. 24/03/00- Soulfly may be playing at the Tattoo the Earth Festival. I hope they don't bacause this festival has mostly the weak metal bands; Sevendust, Coal Chamber etc.
23/03/00- Sean Lennon was at the Soulfly Studio last week, and apparently the song that him and Max sing together is kind a of more mellow type song. BIG NEWS: Tom Araya of Slayer is playing/singing a song on the CD as well. It is entitled Terrorist and is rumored to be one of the heaviest songs on the CD. There are currently scheduled to be 13 songs on the CD and it still has a late Summer release date.
6/03/00- Sepultura's new CD has the rumored name of Sepulnation. There is also speculation of gaining a new symbol other than the Tribal S. So far, Sepultura basically has 12 songs ready for the new CD
2/03/00- Chino Moreno will be on Soulfly's new CD. So will Grady Avenell of Will Haven. There are rumours that Snoop Dogg(Shitty) and Sean Lennon(could be neat)will also be playing on the CD.
21/02/00- After being down for several months, the best damned Sepultura site on the net, Sepultribe.com, is back. Starting February 24th Swen is going to put up some new news and hopefully update the entire page with all of the recent happenings, tour dates and what not about Sepultura.
18/02/00- Soulfly has been in the studios for roughly two weeks now. If all things go the way they should we could be seeing a summer release date which is much better than the prior rumoured date of November.

9/08/99 -Max Cavalera is sueing the city of Atlanta for $1,000,000 because of a problem him and a police officer had before and after a Soulfly show in early July. The police officer verbally assaulted him during and after the show, handcuffed him and make him publilcy apologize (for pulling a secuirity guard off of a fan!) to the rest of the security at the venue. I think this is Bull-shit!! I hope that the guy is fired and Max gets his money.
