Anton's Description

Anton is small man, standing 5'7" and weighing about 165 pounds. His wiry frame and supple grace mark him as a man who might be a dancer, or a gymnast, perhaps even a fencer. He wears his straight dark hair long, drawn into a perfectly-coiffed ponytail at the nape of his neck. He is clean-shaven, with peircing green eyes that contrast his obvious Mediterranian complexion. He dresses well, usually in dark, custom tailored suits by Armani and Versace, and white linen or silk shirts. He wears the best handcrafted Italian leather shoes that money can buy, and carries a slim leather briefcase. Although he usually foregoes most jewelery, he wears a small gold crucifix under his shirt, and a small golden ring highlighted with an Emerald on his pinkie finger.

Anton's History (From the Comet to Present Day)

Prior to the Comet, Anton received word of its approach from his high level Political contacts. He attempted to use these high-level government contacts to get him aboard the "ARK", but to no avail. He did the next best thing, though, and made a makeshift ark of his own. His contacts in the mining industry allowed him to close down one of the INCO mines near Thompson, under the guise of the possibility of a potential cave-in. No one questioned the many trucks coming and going from the mine, thinking it was repair crews and engineering equipment. In reality, it was supplies for Anton and his ghouls to survive the coming cataclysm. A few days before the comet struck, Anton and 2 of his ghouls sealed themselves inside the mines

After 30 years of hiding underground, Anton sent one of the ghouls out to check the situation on the surface. That ghoul never returned. Anton himself went to the surface, and finding the atmosphere hospitable, he made his way to Winnipeg. There, he found that society was in the beginning stages rebuilding itself.

Using his stockpiled equipment and knowledge of the construction industry, Anton quickly moved to the forefront of the rebuilding movement. For nearly 20 years before the coming of MegaTrump, he was rebuilding the infrastructure of Winnipeg and directing the government with a steady hand.

As MegaTrump began to expand eastward from the Rockies, Anton saw the futility of resistance, and seeing who held the power at the moment, he cut a deal with MegaTrump: In return for a directorship position and moderate independence and control over some areas of Influence, he would turn over the city.

Currently, Anton conducts his business out of one of the top floors of the MegaTrump TD Tower on the corner of Portage and Main. He also maintains a residence backing onto the park at Henderson Highway and Kimberly Avenue in the East Kildonan Purple sector.

Out Of Character Info about Anton:

Anton was the character I created to play in the Genesis Chronicle. In the Genesis Chronicle, he was known as an independent Elder, forever walking a dangerous line, playing both the Camarilla and the Sabbat against one another, and motivated only by profit. He's the kind of character that would sell one side guns, and the other side bulletproof vests. He was one of the few characters with the backbone to actually stand in front of a court packed with Kindred and get involved in a shouting match with a Justicar.

Anton is one of the few original characters from the Genesis Chronicle that survived the comet, only to reappear a century-and-a-half later in the Covenant chronicle. He is one of the few survivors that actually REMEMBERS what the world was like back before the Comet. He acts as a sounding board for the newer characters, a historian with glimpses to their unknown pasts, revealing what he knows only when they ask, and always at a price that is ALMOST more than they can afford. Anton has been active long enough to gather a substantial power base, one which might have stood up to MegaTrump had he not handed them the keys to the city in return for assuring his place within the Corporation. No one really knows how much of the local Corporate Branch Office is under his thumb....
