The Red Turtle

Here are some pictures of The Red Turtle; they include pictures from the build and pictures of the finished product.

The first picture is of the shell when it was a BIG bowl and not a robot. The second is the prototype base the drills and the old wheels, third is the batteries in their holders (the handles).

The first picture is the rolling prototype base with the first (and definitely not last) home made motor controllers. The second is of the Weed Eater, here it is before it got taken apart. The third is a picture of the shell about 3 days after welding, with the gas engine, saw mount, and a small metal cutting blade mounted.

The first picture is of the newer motor controller. Second is what happened (bottom view). Third is what happened (top view).

The first picture is of the relay controlers, but I got rid of them after I saw how many people have gotten beaten when their relays blew up. The second (rather blury) picture is of the bottom of my newest motor controler. The third (rather Blury) picture is of the top of the newest controlers. These newest motor controlers can handle over 200 amps and are Grason's (builder of Gorange) desgine and I just copied them.
