Un Named2 is my 30 pound fighting robot! I got the idea for Un Named2 after realizing the mistakes I made when building KNOME2. I found I could creat a GOOD 30 pound robot with a 5 pound tail axe whepon. so I started by weldiing a frame from 1/2 steel square stock into the shape I wanted. here is a picture of part of the frame.
I then used hose clamps to attach the drill drive motors to the frame. here is a picture of that.
I was going to make the aurmor out of steel but my freind Dennis Millard took me to a place where we got some alluminum diamond plate for 1$ a pound! I got three sheets of it so now you know why both my bigger robots have diamond plate aurmor
I took the 5 pound axe off of KNOME2 and remounted it on a light weight PVC arm and mounted that to the robot. Here is a picture of the axe/arm.
I'm using a 12v 9ah gellcell for this robot so I get extra long run times! here is a picture of the batterie. Note it is the black one on the left.
I'm using some home made electronic speed controlers and a Airtronics Vangaurd 4 channel FM radio for this robot. For a picture of the radio look in the scoop of the finushe dproduct picture. The speed controlors have yet to be finished.
The secondary whepon is a scoop up front made from bent diamond plate. Here is a picture of it scooping my 4 channel radio.
