CANADIAN BEARS
Here is Mackenzie,an Attic Treasure. Mackenzie represents Canada, Grant the United States, and Jack, England. You can see all three together at the top of this page, and individually on their own pages. WINNIPEG has a very fine AVIATION MUSEUM and this little (Creature Comforts) bear was purchased there by my biking friend from Minnesota, Ann. Just outside of WATROUS, Saskatchewan is a place called MANITOU BEACH. The lake there I have heard is TEN times saltier than the Dead Sea AND is full of minerals. This little bear was hand-made in Saskatoon, but purchased at the SPA. I named her MICKEY after my Mom whose nickname as a girl was Mickey (she hated it)...BUT my Mom swam that lake when she was 12 years old, being a real tomboy she was the only girl to make it across that day!!!! My Mom loves wearing vests and scarfs, and her hair is pretty much the same colour as this bear!!!!!! While we were in SWIFT CURRENT, Saskatchewan on our Prairie Vacation in 1999, I picked up these three cuties. Peacable Planet Cool Bleu Polar Bear

These bears are by Creature Comforts. Some have the Canadian Flag embroidered on their chest and some have the Maple Leaf. One is a special bear made just for WINNIPEG, probably due to the number of tourists we had here for the PanAm Games this summer. Excellent quality bears, and if you want one, let me know!
