Married but lesbian
Anyone know of any resources on this subject matter... I am struggling!
- There are several. One is the one you are in...you will find that many of us on this board either were or still are married. I personally was married for 20 years when I found this group, thought I would either never leave or would wait five years. Here I am, one year later, in the process of divorce, the kids with me and all of us in the loving arms of Ali who I met on the board we were on before this one. So you will find a lot of strength and support right here. There are LOTS of us!
Another resource is to go into egroups.com, I think I have seen support boards there. If you go into
Dykesworld and go into the chat rooms I have seen several rooms devoted to married to men lesbians (I make the distinction because there are lesbians married to each other, and lesbians still in marriage to a man).
Take courage, you are far from alone...
Hi... I'm another previously married lesbian. One of the places I went to was PFLAG, they're on the net and also have groups in almost every major city here in Australia and in the US too. They are *very* helpful...
I'm married but lesbian (Trying to reach an amicable separation and avoid a child custody battle) This board is a great place to chat about issues. However, I also belong to an on-line support group specifically for married lesbians. It's helpful, supportive and non-judgmental on choices. If you would like information about the group feel free to e-mail me: ceridwencelt@hotmail.com
hi darl! I was also married for 6 years before I met my lady love. Like most of the people her I started at Dykesworld and then came here with the rest of the group.
Here at "The Clearing" you will also find our biographies, including those of us who were married.

Feel free to come here and share your experiences with us. We are a very diverse group of ladies from all ages and nationalities and there is always someone to relate to. I know from personal experience that what you are going thru is not easy, but at least you have made the most important decision of all, to be honest with yourself.
