Humpbacks are found in all oceans, from tropical wintering grounds near
islands and continental coasts to the edge of polar ice zones.
The Humpback Whale is the easiest baleen whale to identify.
This whales spout can reach about 10 feet high.
The males will "sing" the same "song" all winter long.
The Humpback Whale will usually not "sing" during the summer.
These are the only baleen whales who are known to blow bubbles while they are feeding.
These whales eat sand lance, herring, krill, and capelin.
