There are no cooler magazines than movie magazines, and it even get's more great when Jim Carrey happens to be in it. Well, with the Majestic coming up, we can really jump for joy, because there is also a large photo and Article about Jim Carrey in Movieline (one page long) in the December issue. Halle Berry is on the cover. There is also an article with co-star Laurie Holden in it.
Martin Landau gets a star
Martin Landau will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame honoring his film career on Monday, December 17 in conjunction with the release of 'The Majestic. The Star will be located in the 6800 block of Hollywood Blvd and the ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on the 17th.

Jim Carrey nominated for People's Choice Awards
Jim Carrey is nominated as "Best Comedic Performer" at the 28th Annual People's Choice Awards. Other actors co-nominated in this category are Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller. The PCA's don't award particular performances and nationwide polls conducted by the Gallup Organization determine both the nominees and winners. Kevin James, star of the sitcom "The King of Queens," will host the live CBS telecast, scheduled for January 13.
Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind
Talking about someone who seems to be eager to work next year :). Jim Carrey (who has signed on, rumor or otherwise, to star/produce in 4!!! projects) is in early talks to star in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," written by "Being John Malkovich"'s Charlie Kaufman.
This film has a similar idea to "Malkovich", but this time it "takes place partly in the recesses of the brain, showing what happens to a man when he tries to forget about a particularly steamy relationship he had with his ex-mate." The script is said to be one of the hottest reads in Hollywood. It's also said that as Carrey was in talks to play the lead role, A-list actresses were already showing interest in signing for the female lead.
The USA Films flick will be directed by Michel Gondry.

Yet there is another rumour of a Jim Carrey project called 'Kind Hearts and Coronets'!! The movie may also star Jim Carrey (rumored), Will Smith (rumored), Jada Pinkett Smith (rumored), Connie Nielsen (rumored), Brendan Fraser (rumored), Robin Williams (rumored). This film will be directed by Mike Nichols!! Jim Carrey is planning to star and produce.He will play the main lead, whilst Brendan Fraser takes the Alec Guiness role in which he plays 9 different roles which are all one family. Whilst Jim Carrey tries to kill of each one to get his fortune.

The drawing [on the shirts] is by local Ferndale artist Jack Mays who painstakingly recreated every detail of the Majestic building as it was being built. So far, these are the only Majestic shirts available and a majority of the cast and crew, as well as screenwriter Michael Sloane, have purchased them for themselves and family and friends.The price is $15 per shirt, and currently they are only available in short sleeve, sizes Xlarge, Large and Medium.
The shipping rates for international cities varies. People interested in purchasing shirts who are outside the U.S., should email at customerservice@theferndaletshirtco.com with their order and they will email them back with the shipping charges. If they decide to go ahead with the order, then they will "hold" their purchases until payment has cleared including shipping charges.
