The sunday blessing of the week

look what Cinnamongirl over at the jco message board found:

No Grinch he, Jim Carrey calls on a sick child in Phila.

By Michael Klein
Inquirer Staff Writer

Rubber-faced actor Jim Carrey was in town Sunday to pull off a good deed. With no fanfare or entourage, he visited a little girl at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia who had requested a visit. The girl's original wish was to go to California, but she was too sick. Carrey's agent had told the girl's family that he would not be able to make it to Philadelphia. When Carrey found out she could not travel, he rearranged his schedule and flew in. He spent two hours with the girl and her great-grandparents. (Among the questions she asked: "How did you pee in your Grinch outfit?" He replied that he wore diapers.)

Awwwwwww! I'm proud!

thanks to Cinnamongirl

BOY AM I PISSED NOW!

Remember my complaining on my downtime at http://www.envy.nu? Out of nowhere it was down for a longlonglonglonglonglong time, weeks. It seemed to be returned today, since it was loading. But what did it open??? a whole different server!. Zerocatch.com. I'm so totally pissed! Luckelyyyy I have a backup on my computer. But pissed I am! Yes!!! My whole site, gonemento! So stay tuned while I try to find a new server. GRRRRRR.

Bruce allmighty!

We have no time to be bitter about Dog Years put away in the doggy bag and awayyy in the fridge, since Possible Jim Carrey Projects seem to be popping out of the ground like, mushrooms! And we are very happy to see that. This news came to my attention thanks to JCO, which brings yet again, a smile on my face. So you won't find it first here, but at least like....AT LEAST second. So you might feel a little deja vu ish. While talking to Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker last Sunday, Tom Shadyac (of "Pet Detective" and "Liar Liar" directorial fame) brought to our attention that ( besides "Hughes", a biopic on the life of the famous eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes, to be directed by Christoper Nolan ("Memento"), "Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind", "The Children of the Dust Bowl", and even (you heared it first at jco, bless them :) ), a mysterious project with Angelina Jolie titled "The Matador" ) Jim might have ANOTHER project. That makes 1,2,3,4,5, 6 minus dog years so 5!! possible projects. But it looks like Tom Shadyac is getting some nice advantage points over the rest. As he puts it "It's not a done deal, but there's a good chance Jim and I will make our next picture together in Chicago."

But what movie will that be? Although he didn't specify past the point that it was a comedy, there might be a chance it's "Bruce Almighty". This project has been in development for quite a while at Shady Acres Entertainment/Universal and Carrey was said to be "attached" to it since mid 2000.

If this hypothesis proves to be true, Carrey might play Bruce, an everyday guy who at some point gets frustrated at life and curses God. Because criticizing is easy but doing is hard ,God summons him and challenges him to trade places for a day. What's the catch? If Bruce doesn't do a better job, humanity reverts back to the dark ages. No sweat.

Very interesting subject, if you ask me. Woa! Yep I am very excited. very very excited. Seems like an origional new fresh story here. "Bitterness" comes to my mind. Curious about the script.

Vanity Fair Photo Book!!

Vanity Fair is not only famous for it's big deep interviews, it's also famous for it's wonderful pictures! Pictures that show more that a thousand words can tell, showing the real beauty of the people on it. It's already a reason to buy this book. What makes it even more interesting, is that Jim Carrey is also in it. So scrape that money together, and buy it. For it's worth it. YEAH! *looks in wallet and sighs*.
