The Tributes

I will let most of the tributes speak for themselves..

However, on this tribute above, surrounding it were verses from the Memorial Watch once in News of the World..
There were all the verses someone had put around it
On the typed sheets with the red roses on them...
Five of my verses were published..
In Vivienne Parry's then column..
And were posted on the fence...
Along with the others...
Small world..isn't it?

Mine and Teri's Flowers for Diana..
I chose 2 dozen pink roses
And two dozen cream ones...
and a mixed bouquet of pink and cream ones...
The flower vendor down Kensington High Street..
Told Me,Beth Julie and Barbara...
that Diana often stopped by his stall
As she shopped or lunched nearby...
He always gave her bouquets of freezia's...
Her favorite flowers...
I passed him several times...
Several different days...
Roaming around the street...
He would always say to me..
Hello Maria dear..
And had a hug for me...
I looked forward...
To chatting with him each time we met..
And listening to him...
Remember Diana...

I made a book of all my poems...
From my web site...
And left them at KP during the days...
All of us were together there...
I then took them to Althorp...
On September 3...
Where I left them at the oval...
For her family...

Giving back the pieces of my heart
That are contained in them...

Our tributes for Diana...
Julie,Barbara,Beth and I
Came together
In rememberance and prayer..
We lit our candles the night of the 30th..
As our group always does
On the first of each month...
In memory of Diana...
I brought 6 candles with me..
One for each year she has been gone...
And one representing ...
Our Loving Lights Group...
The one in the middle...
Would not stay lit..
A candle in the wind..
Perhaps...

Some of my favorite tributes...
There were thousands of posters..
Cards,candles and stuffed animals...
Left there for the Queen of hearts...
