CHERISH EVERY MOMENT
They each came special delivery,
sent from the Father above;
as proof of His majesty
and the depth of His love.
They brought to our home
endless happiness and joy;
I never knew such pleasure
could come from a girl and boy.
Though unique in their own special way,
they each fill a void in my heart;
My life never feels complete
whenever we’re apart.
I never imagined myself as a mom,
nor was I sure I wanted to be;
But God knew the deep desires I held
and He foresaw what I could not see.
I’m still learning every day
to balance the duties in my life;
I long to be a better mom
and a more compassionate wife.
But the Lord knew He’d be there
to help me in joy and in sorrow,
And I know He’ll always sustain me
and fill me with hope for tomorrow.
My children won’t be with me long,
for one day they’ll be fully grown;
Much sooner than I want them to,
they’ll be out on their own.
So I must cherish every moment
whether filled with sunshine or rain;
Then when the time comes for them to leave
in my heart my memories will remain.

MEET MY CHILDREN

My little girl (who isn't a little girl anymore) is Amber. She loves to sing and listen to music, text & "hang out" with her friends. She loves Tigger, dragonflies, white tigers and daisies. She's 21 and beautiful! She is a licensed cosmetologist, but has decided she doesn't really want to do that (go figure). Her dream is to become a high paid model. She has a very bubbly, joyful personality and I love her with all my heart! |

| My wild son is Nicholas. He is a real handful! He loves all kinds of sports, especially football. He enjoys watching t.v./movies and playing XBOX Live with his best buddy, Clint. But mostly, he's into killing his friends on computer games. He lives on his computer! (Wonder where he gets that from?) He's real smart & crazy, too! If only I had some of his energy! He is a very loving, special boy with a tender heart and I love him with all my heart, too! |

| And this is my full blooded pekingese, Scooter. He thinks he runs the household. Sometimes I think he does, too. He loves chasing his ball and then deliberately stopping far enough away from us to make us get up to get the ball from him. I guess it's just too easy for him to bring it back to us. He loves to get a bath, yet he won't go out in the rain...go figure! He is a very jealous doggy but is very affectionate and loves lots of attention...especially from "daddy"... and he usually gets it! (Is he cute or what?) |
