~ My Soulmate ~

Thank you, sweetheart, for 30 wonderful years of marriage.  We've had our ups and downs, just like any couple, but the Lord brought us through the tough times and I love you more now than I did the day I married you.  You will always be my sweetheart ... and my soulmate!  I'll love you always!

Little did I know on our first date

that he would become my lifelong soulmate;

That he would one day be my best friend,

or that he was Heaven sent.

Little did I realize he'd stay by my side

and always find a way to provide

The shelter and protection I would often need

and the strength I lacked to succeed.

He would push his own desires away

and put mine first every day.

He'd love me even when I let him down

and gave him plenty of reasons to frown.

No matter what, he would never give up on me

and he'd help me be the best I could be;

Our uniting, you see, was not mere fate,

for God hand-picked him to be my soulmate.

About My Sweetheart

Meet my soulmate.  We were in the same graduating class ~ the class of '78.  He's been my soulmate now for 30 years.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, riding motorcycles and watching Nascar ... he's a major Mark Martin fan!  He's a Financial Advisor and a wonderful Christian man.  He has a good sense of humor and great taste (he picked me didn't he?)

To My Husband

You're the kind of man I never thought I'd get to meet;

A man whose smile and words can sweep a girl right off her feet -

Strong enough to lean on, warm enough to care -

True enough to count on when  I need you to be there...

Brave enough to share your dreams and say what's on your mind;

Boy enough to marvel at small wonders that you find;

Sweet enough to make me feel I'm someone you admire -

A friend you love to laugh with, the woman you desire...

You're everything (and then some) that I'd ever hoped you'd be -

Dream enough and real enough and man enough for me!
