[September.26th 2001] Well, I guess this is the last entry. I had a really great time in this band. But, things change, people change. We just have to move on. And we all are. Thanks again to all of our supporters. You know who you are. Thanks for watching us, liking us, and helping us grow. For me, andrew, and scott, this was our first band. Personally, I think for a first time, it was a sucess. Goodbye. -dave and nine to five.

[July.29th] The show was a week ago today. It was really fun and we played well. I'm sure andrew had a really good birthday. Hopefully.
I updated my bio aswell as andrew's and marc's.
We are still finalizing the bass player situation. Scott is now out of the band, officially. It was a good 2 years. We will come to a decision soon on who will replace him. For now, andrew and I are writing new stuff and it's sounding great. We won't play a show for a while though, so don't expect much on that. A new website will be launched, a new name will be chosen, and a new bass player will be selected when all is said and done. Until then. -dave

[July.20th] Two days away from the show. It's 18+, so just sneak in if you are under 18. It's the albert, come on. If you are sneaking in, be sure to give $5 to any member of nine to five or dale.
The 22nd will see the premiere of :: slobberknocker :: winnipeg's new power violence abomanations. For those of you who don't know, slobberknocker consists of only three members. Ben Bonner on vocals, Scott McLaren on bass and drums, and David Neufeld on drums and bass. Come out to the show and expect, 5 second songs, relentless noise, and flailing basses. Terror!
That's it for news, if you have any suggestions or comments, please email us at ninetofive@hotmail.com
-dave.

[July.2nd] Well the rumors you may or may not of heared are true, scott mclaren is leaving nine to five. He is playing two more shows with us on July 13th at the westend, and July 22nd at the albert. Hopefully he won't be a stranger to this site after the 22nd. We wish him all the love and luck for the future. He will be missed. After his last show on the 22nd, you can catch a glimpse of scott on stage with winnipeg's new power violence terror, slobberknocker.
We are currently jamming with Ian of never a victim. Hopefully he will become part of the family soon.
Also, along with the line-up change, we are deciding on a new name for the band. This process is moving along real smooth, shockingly. Things have to change, they always have and always will. -dave

[June.19th] Yo. A couple new pictures in the pictures section. They're not really new, but they appeared on this site and were then forgotten. Go check them out.
We are working on some new material. Our style is really changing, I like it. We are working on almost 3 new songs.
We are also still working on a record. We should be hitting the old studio with Ted Crowston and Jared Weiss of volition acting as our producers. We hope to have something out by fall. I really hope we do because we've been saying this for a while. Keep your fingers crossed. -dave

[June.7th] We played a show last night at the Riverview Community Club. We played a relativly good set besides the world famous "community club accoustics" that beat good bands up every time they challange it. Marc almost threw up. He'll feel better.
We're playing at the West End on the 13th of July. We'll probably be the hardest band their so come on out. We should have two new ones by then. -dave

[May.27th] We are playing a few shows in the near future. I'm not sure when, but as soon as i know, you'll know. We're still thinking about a new name, and writing new material. We'll get it together one day.
Please pay a visit to :: slobberknocker ::
It's a new side project of dave and scott featuring ben bonner. Relentless power violence that will amuse you. I promise. -dave
