New Flyer Rosters

Up until the delivery of the Neoplan articulated buses in 2003, the New Flyer buses served the Silver Line.  They were repainted in yellow-blue-grey in late 2003 to match the rest of the MBTA fleet.   For a time, the 17 New Flyer buses operated out of Charlestown, but since Charlestown has a handful of low-floor diesel Neoplans, the New Flyers will likely supplemement the Cabot fleet, bringing their total to 198 CNG buses.

These buses operate with Detroit Diesel Series 50-IV CNG engines.  The seating arrangement is actually 2/3 low floor towards the front, 1/3 high floor towards the rear.
