In God’s Meadow In God’s celestial garden.. Somewhere far beyond the sky.. A meadow full of flowers bloom.. Pets go there when they die.. The hearts of loving spirits Of the pets we loved on earth... God made a place for them to dwell While waiting for rebirth.. In this lovely meadow.. The flowers bloom all year The only sound is birdsong And... Their voices we hold dear... God made this meadow special... For the pets we know and love... They are part of his great kingdom... His gift from up above. For as we loved these dear ones... So God loves each one he made... And the love you felt for your dear pet... Is love that will not fade.. Some day when life is over And your time on earth is done.. You will walk into that meadow... And will see the shining sun.. A special little someone.. With soft fur and little tail... Will run right up to meet you... Down a lovely meadow trail. Oh the joy in reuniting With this little pet you loved... And you’ll always be together in.. This meadow made of love.. For God has made a promise.. When he made each special pet.. That when we love no matter what... That love waits for us yet... So when your heart is saddened... And the pain of loss is near... Just think about that meadow.. And your little pet so dear.. He’s waiting in the meadow... With the birds and butterflies... Somewhere far beyond the rainbow... In God’s celestial skies..
