Minutes from November 1, 2000

• World AIDS DAY(December 1)- We need vollenteers to help out with a table that we are going to put out in the main hallway. Basically it will have some pamplets on safe sex and AIDS/HIV prevention. As well, we will be handing out red ribbons, which represent AIDS awareness, for a donation that will be sent to the Canadian AIDS Society. Please contact Vanessa if you are interested in helping out.
• New time- Next term we will be changing our meeting time, perhaps the day and proabally the location. Check back here on look for posters around the college to announce the new time.
• Pride 2001- Winnipeg's Pride 2001 committie is looking for vollenteers to help out at this years festivies...Check out their web page at http://www.gaypridewinnipeg.com
• The U of Winnipeg's Homo Hop is on Friday, November 10th, 8pm-2am. Tickets available at the u of w info booth, Ms. Purdy's, Happenings and the Rainbow Resource Center. Tickets are $6 for students and under-employed and $8 regular and day of.
• We have recieved some articules and postcards and such from a group in Ontario that gives resources to under resourced groups such as ours. I'm just getting them organised right now but if anyone is interested in seeing them i'll have them at the next meeting.

It was a short meeting. We just talked about the issues above and decided that we'd continue in the next term with other issues!
