Red River College Gay/Straight Allaince is a group of both gay and open minded straight students working and having fun together for a common goal. This goal, as decided by the group, is to meet other gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, two spirited and straight allies in the college as well as being a pressence in the school to combat homophobia. We also want this group to be a safe, fun and informative environment for people to come "out" in.
I have left many of the small details of the group open for members to decide on so that everyone's ideas are heard. I want this group to be something everyone at Red River College who chooses to participate, can feel welcome to and feel that they have some say in.
