CP 4069

CP 4069 is a former Canadian Pacific FP7 that has been restored to operating service by the West Coast Railway Association of British Columbia. I encountered it while scouting around BC Rail in North Vancouver. It had just returned with the Royal Hudson tourist train, which BC Rail no longer runs, and these shots were taken as it performed switching moves in BC Rail's yard.

First encounter. I was pretty stoked that the first train I ever saw in Canada was being pulled by an F unit.

CP 4069 turns itself on the wye.
