I took an additional trip to Tehachapi on June 14 this year. I saw some colorful locomotive consists on this trip.
A new flag unit leads the first train of the day at Walong.
This eastbound stack train had a very colorful consist.
The FURX-lettered unit is a former BN SD40-2 that has since been sold to a leasing company. I saw several of these units on this trip.
This was the best consist I saw all day. A BN whiteface SD60M leads a GP60B and a leased SD40-2 in BN paint hauling the AutoMax train at Woodford.
A relatively rare ex-ATSF GP60B. This unit was once painted in Warbonnet but has since been repainted to Heritage I. A-B-A consists such as this are hard to come by!
