The Tustin Branch is served each weekday by the Marlboro Local. The train crosses BNSF's San Diego Sub on a diamond and enters the Tustin Branch trackage which runs almost up to meet BNSF's Olive Sub in Orange. At one time, this branch went all the way to Tustin (hence the name), but much of it has been abandoned for some time. The remnants of SP's spurs in Tustin and Irvine are now switched by BNSF.
The Marlboro Local backs along Sunkist Ave. toward the Marlboro industial complex.
Crossing Taft St. into the industrial complex.
Darn my luck. I had a good shot intil that truck pulled up at the last minute!
Pulling the empties out of the Foamex spur. Foamex is one of the largest customers on the line. This spur is also the very end of the line on the Tustin Branch.
