The Buena Park Switcher is a daily except Saturday job that works a large industrial complex in its namesake city as well as the city of La Mirada. Oddly enough, the area happens to be known as the "Southern Pacific Industrial Complex," owing to the once prominent place the railroad held in bringing industry and jobs to Orange County. Today, many of the leads sit abandoned, but there are still enough businesses that ship or receive by rail to make this a busy job.

With the crew out on break, the power for the switcher sits on one of the industrial leads between jobs.
It's getting increasingly rare to find SP SW1500's paired together, even if one is a patch job and the other sports an "urban" paint scheme. Many have been repainted.
