* Well, after another very long time, we're finally back with an update. First, thanks to everyone who made it out to the Choke show yesterday. The turnout was awesome and we just want to thank you guys for showing up and supporting the music. Second, contrary to some rumors flying around and to what even we believed, One Step Back is not breaking up. There was some speculation that the Choke show would be our last, but this is not true. We plan on continuing to play, so if you're booking a show don't hesitate to ask. All of us, however, are now consumed with other projects (listed below) which have forced One Step Back to take a backburner position. We do love One Step Back though and we will continue to play as long as possible and feasible.
And now a band member update with the aforementioned "other projects" and what's keeping us busy:
Ben- Now playing bass for 238, which is, as you can imagine, very time consuming. He will be going out with them on their upcoming February/March tour and all subsequent tours after that.
Aaron- Busy with his band, Typecast, which is also time consuming. Rumor has it that they're embarking on a two-month tour with a big name band this summer, we'll try our best to keep you updated.
Charlie- Charlie is now also playing with Typecast, filling in the drummer's spot. Charlie is also busy at work (as usual) writing some new One Step Back material for us to learn. He's also devoting much of his time to his girlfriend and his new job.
Greg- Greg is finishing up his senior year of high school and working at the mall, he's not involved in any side projects that I know of...well maybe Core 120.
Scott- Scott is busy job hunting and just got done recording Welcome to Brookhollow (his band's) 5th full-length album. He is assembling a back-up band to accompany him and looking to play some shows this summer.
Well, that's really it. Sign up for the mailing list and we'll keep you all informed of any future One Step Back events and happenings.

* It's been a looong time since we've updated this website and with good reason, we haven't been doing anything. We've been on a hiatus since we got off our summer tour and haven't played a show since Furnace Fest in August. During this time all of us we're thinking about the future of One Step Back. Where it's leading us, where we want it to go, and where we are at this moment. Last night, we practiced as a full band for the first time since the tour and it was very productive, musically and personally for all of us. So just to clear the air on where we are, One Step Back is still a band. We have not broken up and we have plans to play a few shows within the next couple of months to get in the habit of playing again and to test out new material which we will be learning soon. I know these months have been a period of uncertainty, even for us in the band. But we are not quitting yet. We'll let you know any show dates as we get them, but we definitely will be playing at least a couple. Please just keep us in your prayers.
