Another Beginning's End-Info Semisonic

Semisonic consists of (left to right)

John Munson:Bass, Vocals
Dan Wilson: Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards
Jacob Slichter: Drums, Keyboards

The trio from Minneapolis (minus Jake ) started out together in the band Trip Shakespeare along with Dan's brother Matt Wilson and Elaine Harris. Under that name, they released five albums, Applehead Man (1988), Are You Shakespearienced? (1989), The Crane EP (1990), Across the Universe (1990), and Lulu (1991).

When Trip Shakespeare split, Dan and John went off together with Jake and formed a band named Pleasure. However, another band with that name already existed, so Semisonic was forced to change their name. As Semisonic, they have released three albums Pleasure,, Great Divide, and their latest Feeling Strangely Fine.
