August 3, 1999- Two new elites started training at Hill's this summer; Ashley Postell and Lindsay Wing. Also, Best of Luck to all the Hill's girls competing at the U.S. Classic this weekend in Rochester, New York. Good Luck :)
April 24, 1999- Ashley is healthy and doing great :) Great Job to all Ashley's teammates in all their recent meets and Good Luck to Courtney Kupets in her competition in Canada April 28- May 3.
February 7, 1999- Ashley will not be competing at the American Classic in California next weekend because of a minor ankle injury. They don't want to risk injuring it more. However, she will be competing at an invitational in Arizona at the end of February. Also, many of Ashley's teammates (including her sister Courtney) will be competing at the American Classic so Good Luck Hill's!
February 1, 1999- Many of Ashley's teammates competed at the recent Maryland Classic and also the Parkette Invitational. Check out the teammates section for info on how they did!
January 2, 1999- Ashley has tendinitis in her recovering ankle and is doing stretches and physical therapy. Her tendinitis is getting better, but is not gone yet. Everyone please keep Ashley in your prayers!
January 1, 1999- HAPPY NEW YEAR! We pray that everyone has a safe, happy, healthy, and fun year!
November 31, 1998- Ashley's teammate, Erinn Dooley, recently competed in the Swiss Cup. She did a great job!
November 15, 1998- Jeana Rice, Ashley's elite teammate, went back to Florida. She really missed her family. Good Luck Jeana!
November 6, 1998- Ashley's sister and teammate, Courtney Kupets, and also another teammate, Glyn Sweets, both went to a National Training Camp in Texas on the weekend of Halloween. They were glad to go to the camp, but sad to miss trick or treating.
October 1, 1998- Elise Ray and Jeana Rice, also elites at Hill's, competed in the China Cup in September. Elise and Jeana both did an awesome job!
September 26, 1998- Amber Melvin, Ashley's former elite teammate, is now a Level 10 at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy.
September 1, 1998- The Hill's Elite Team vacation at the Outer Banks of North Carolina was cut short by Hurrican Bonnie! Unfortunatley, they only got to stay for one day.
August 25, 1998- The Elite Team from Hill's will be going on vacation at the beach for a week.
August 24, 1998- Ashley just got back from Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Even though she wasn't competing, she had a good time cheering her teammates on and watching them compete.
August 10, 1998- At a recent training session Ashley fractured her other ankle! She was doing a layout and landed it wrong. Due to this injury, she won't be competing at the National Championships this month. Keep Ashley in your prayers!
August 3, 1998- Ash, her sister Courtney, and their mother just got home from Texas, where Ashley competed in the U.S. Classic, and Courtney competed in the National Gym Fest. They had a fun trip, and it was especially neat because Ashley and Courtney were both born in Texas.
June 30, 1998- At Ashley's first Hill's Angels banquet in late June she was awarded the Most Improved Elite award. Her sister Courtney got Most Outstanding Level 10. Most Hard Working Elite went to Erinn Dooley, and Elise Ray got the Most Outstanding Elite. The banquet was at Holiday Inn and Ashley said it was lots of fun!!!
June 17, 1998- Amber Melvin, one of Ash's old teammates from Hills, moved back to Ohio in June of 98. Here is what Ash said about it: "One of my teammates Amber Melvin is moving back to Ohio. She misses her family. She moved here from Ohio last may and has lived with another family. She decided she couldn't do it anymore, so she is leaving June 17. I am really going to miss her, because she is soooo much fun."
June 2, 1998- Ashley's 11-year old sister Courtney tried out for the National Elite Level today and qualified! Yeah Courtney!!! :)
