Reference links on the Internet

Christian reference sources:  an online Bible and Bible search engine and Chinese and King James Version online Bibles and Bible search engines.  For those interested in Christian Apologetics and cults, Christian Ministry Report & Apologetics Index contains many links of interest.

For World Wide Web search engines, I recommend Yahoo! and Google.

For Usenet, the definitive search engine, in my opinion, is Google's Usenet search site.   If anybody knows about another good Usenet search engine, please let my know.

Lexis-Nexis is a very good search engine for recent newspaper and magazine articles.  It's a pay service, though.

The only free online dictionaries I found are Merriam-Webster's online dictionary and Dictionary.com. The Merriam-Webster site also has a thesaurus.

The Audio Related Internet World Wide Web & FTP Sites © contains many manufacturers', sales, and personal links of interest to audiophiles.  The person who maintains that webpage, Steve Ekblad, is willing to take links of interest to audiophiles that are not presently on that webpage.

For birdseye views of cities, you can go to Microsoft's Terraserver or to city-scenes.com.
