Chapter 28
Lia and Zac walked rapidly away from the group when all of the sudden they both spotted the local toy store. "HALLELUJAH! I knew it was here somewhere!",Zac sceamed as he ran up to the shop and did the whole "I am not worthy"-thing in front of the window. Lia rolled her eyes as some girls passed Zac,as he was doing his "thing", and giggled. "Well don't just sit there let's go inside!",Lia shouted at him. "Yes master!",Zac exclaimed as he opened the door for Lia and bowed to her. "Stop being such a dork and just come in here!",Lia told him as he mimicked her behind her back. They spread out and wandered through the small two story toy shop. Lia went up the stairs and down an aisle until she spotted the most glorious toy of all time and so she reached out for it. Zac bounced a bouncing ball in one aiseld when automatically he saw something that he was dying to buy, and so he ran to grab it. "Hey that toy is mine!",Zac said as he held on to one half of the Power Rangers Dragonzord box. "NO shrimp it's MINE!",Lia told him. "Aren't you a little old to play with Power Rangers?",Zac asked meanly. "Aren't you a little old to sleep with a teddy bear named Cornelius?",Lia responded. "Hey how'd you.. It's mine!!",Zac screamed. "Not your's!",Lia said. "But mine!",Zac replied. "Not your's!",Lia exclaimed. "But mine!",Zac retorted. "NOT YOUR'S!",Lia yelled. "BUUUUTTT MIIIINNNE!",Zac screeched as he grabbed the Dragonzord from Lia. "Gosh you hit that note pretty high.. I gotta give you credit.. but it's still not fair that you get the toy.",Lia said. "Well I'll just put it back then.",Zac said as he layed the box back onto the shelf teary-eyed. Zac picked up a shaggy dog and said to it "Hey! Gosh Ike, I didn't know you were here!". Lia picked up a Barbie box and says, "Love the make-up Tay.. Maybe you were born with it!" "Or maybe it's Maybelline!",Zac added as they both giggled. Lia and Zac left the store and on the way out Lia tripped on the last step and fell on Zac. Their noses were touching one another as they looked each other eye to eye. "Hey watch that step kids!",the man behind the counter then yelled. "Um, thanks mister..",Lia retorted as Zac got up and then gave her his hand, which she took,stood up and smilesd. "HI ZAC!!!!!!!!",screamed Marie. "Oh, hey Marie.. Long time no see..",Zac grumbled as the teen gossip of the town approached them. "So Zac, since Bri left looks like you got a new girlfriend 'eh?! Gosh people are going to hate to hear this! I know a few girls who are totally digging you!",Marie said and smiled as she put her hand around Zac and winked at him. Zac was about to die, he hated Marie. Lia knew she had to intervene, it was the most human thing to do. Lia put her hand in Zac's and said to Marie, "Well looks like my BOYFRIEND,ZAC and I have to go now. Nice meeting you Marie.. C'mon Zachy Pie!". Marie mumbled under her breath,"I doubt they really are dating.. what a phoney." Lia thought to herself, 'I HATE THAT GIRL, and I know I am going to regret what I am about to do, ahh..' Lia grabbed Zac and kissed him. Zac pretty much didn't know what was going on with this but he figured it couldn't hurt to follow it. Marie just looked at that with her mouth gaping in awe and disgust as she stomped off. As soon as she turned her back Lia pushed Zac away and wiped her mouth on her sleeve. "Gosh can you kiss!",Zac replied. "Yea same to you.. sorry but that girl was making me soooo POed.. ha ha I got her good!!",Lia laughed evily. Soon after, Taylor and Krissa approached. "Ohmigod.. is it true?",Krissa yelled. "What? Does Zac have a baboon's brain? Yes he does.",Lia replied. "No.. we heard that you two.. well let's just say Marie was talking about something..",Taylor said. "Oh that.. no sweat! See Lia and I are secretly in LOVE!",Zac said as he grabbed Lia around the waist. "Um, not REALLY! She was just irritating me and I HAD to show her off!!",Lia said,as she pushed Zac away. "Hey Taylor, I have the kewlest thing to get Jessie for her birthday!! Come with me!",Zac said as he grabbed Tay's shirt and pulled him into the toy store. ~~ "So, you like her don't you Zac!!",Tay exclaimed as Zac paid at the register. "No.. we are friends.. I guess.. otherwise I hate her.",Zac replied,"Anyways.. you like Krissa so I wouldn't be talking MISTER!" "No I .. ok I do.. but don't you tell a soul or everyone is going to know that you sleep with Cornelius the bear!",Tay shouted. "No offense Tay, but I think they already do know..",Zac said as he patted Tay on the shoulder. "Oh that.. well I ment going PUBLIC like PRESS CONFERENCE..See?",Tay replied. Zac nodded showing he understood.~~ "Well guys do you wanna go get ice cream and then go find our ride?",Krissa suggested as Tay and Zac exited the toy store. "Sure" responded everyone, so they headed to Ben and Jerry's.
