CHAPTER 3
"Kris,earth to Kris..we're here!",Lia yelled into her firend's ear "Oh..
okay..sorry..I was in a daze.",Krissa said as Penny stopped the car and
Lia opened the slide door. Krissa and Lia jumped out as Penny reminded
them, "Call me at the pay phone in the mall and I'll come and pick you
two up, remember before 6. Have fun!" The girls swiftly walked into the
mall and read the notice on the wall. It read: Pop group Hanson will be
having a concert at 12 o'clock p.m. June 18th in the center of the mall.
They will be signing autographs the next day promptly at 2 o'clock p.m.
where the concert was held the day before. "Well, let's get a move on
Kris because if we don't see them you'll be sobbing around the house like
Cloe but worse!",Lia said to Krissa as she tugged Krissa's shirt. They
walked down the hall until they saw a huge screaming crowd of hanson fans
they immediately scattered into the crowd together. Krissa looked at her
watch and noticed it was only 11:45 yet the whole area was packed. 'I
guess they sure do have a lot of fans',Krissa thought as she looked up on
the stage and saw Zachary,Taylor,and Isaac doing a sound check before the
concert began.
From behind the stage Mr. Hanson (Walker) looked at his watch and noticed
it was 12 and so he signaled the music group to begin, immediately Taylor
spoke into the microphone and introduced himself,as did the rest of the
band. After the introduction Zac screamed, "1,2,3,4!!" and then the melody
of MMMBop filled the crowd's ears. Lia thought to herself, 'Oh no,not this
annoying song again.' and started to regret coming with Krissa in the
first place. "SOOOOOOO WHAT SONG DOES EVERYONE WANNA HEAR NOWW?!?",Zac
asked the screaming crowd. The audience unanimously yelled in response,
"MADELINE!!" Hanson played the song while Krissa was having the time of
life hitting and throwing the beach balls that happened to come her way.
Hanson played 5 more songs upon request from their fans. Then, Isaac said
into the microphone, "You all have been a great audience! Come Back tommorow,
we'll be signing autographs here from 2 to 4 p.m. See ya then!" Zac
then yelled, "BBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYEEEEEE!!!!" and the crowd responded with an almost equally loud "Bye!" Hanson started packing up their instruments while Krissa and Lia ran to the pay phone.
Krissa and Lia walked down the corridor to exit the mall after they had
phoned Penny. They immediately saw through the glass doors a huge group
of screaming Hanson fans waiting for Hanson to come outside and get into
the van that was awaiting them. Krissa and Lia joined the crowd but in
a mmmbop(an instant) they were seperated. Krissa was in the middle as
Walker,Hanson's bodyguard,and their manager attempted at guarding the boys
from the obsessed fans. Krissa was so close than she could litterally touch
them. Then, all of the sudden a foot kicked Krissa and she fell forward
into Taylor,Isaac, and Zac. The boys put out their arms to block Krissa
from falling to the ground but she just fell and landed on her wrist. On
the ground in pain she watched Hanson look back and then keep on walking
while talking to their manager and dad. She watched them talk and thought,
'Those greedy little boys are probably arguing about whose sitting where,
no ofcourse they don't care that a girl is really hurt...no ofcourse no!',
little did Krissa know but they really were arguing about helping her..but
Hanson knew if they went back it would be certain death...by fans.
On the ride back to their hotel besides burping and counting how many
cars were following them the Hanson brothers felt guilty about not helping
the injured girl.
After the crowd had finally died down Krissa picked herself off the
sidewalk with her good arm as Lia walked over to her hurt friend.
"OWWWWWWWW, my wrist is killing me! Those stupid Hanson GIRLS, they're
sooooo RUDE!" ,Krissa said angerily. "Wait, wait wait..",Lia said as she
helped her wounded friend up, "YOU, Krissa Nicholes hate Hanson?!?
What did they do to you? And what's up with your wrist?" Krissa explained
the whole story to Lia while they waited for Penny. As soon as they car
drove up they hopped in, Krissa cradling her wrist.
As she sat looking at her injured wrist Krissa thought to herself,
'Oh Hanson you mean GIRLS! I'm going to get all of you back soooooo
bad,just wait, let's just say tommorow there will be a surprise awaiting
you! Ha ha ha ha...'
