Poems I wrote
Time passes all understanding or so the saying goes. But what exactly does that mean to you and me. Does that mean our understanding will become clear one day but not yet. Or does that mean time has no understanding. A dilemma for sure. For what are we to do in the meantime. Life is full of questions.... Some we cannot answer even in the next lifetime. Others we can only but ask knowing there is no answer. But ask the questions and search for the answers Is the existence we have.
The folowing poem was written back in 1983.
Oh Lord, I looked for you today But I couldn’t find you. I know you were there But you seemed unapproachable Just beyond my reach. I tried to find you in my friends, But they just let me down. They were searching for you too So I couldn’t find you in them. I looked for you in your beautiful nature But I couldn’t find you there either. I felt all alone and lonely without you. So I stopped looking for you. I thought you had left me. That you had forgotten me. But then I remembered All I had to do is be quiet and still. And then you were there with me I could talk with you And you would listen. You were there all the time, I had only to be still & quiet And to truly believe that all I had to do Was call out your name and you would be There for me at anytime. I love you Lord, Because you listen to me and Forgive me and never ever Forget me.

Charity
There is so much good in the worst of us, And so much bad in the best of us, That it ill behooves any of us To find fault with the rest of us.
Outlook
Do not despair, when life lets you down. Do not give up, when your hopes, hit the ground. Even if things are especially bad today - Hope in tomorrow, for it's a new day. You Mustn't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest! if you must--but never quit.
