"Ay, wake up you guys. 'C mon, Madison, Taylor wake up. Zac get up"

I snuggled up closer to whichever body I was laying next to, closed my eyes again and tried to block out my sisters calls.

"Geez, guys come on. You're gonna get in trouble"

It was the next morning and me, Taylor and Zac had all fallen asleep in my room. Molly was now trying to get us awake and knowing Molly she won't stop until we're wide awake, so I gave in.

"Fine" I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes "I'm up. Guys, get up"

I nudged Taylor and then Zac. Slowly but surely they got up. Zac got up, looked around and left the room. I'm pretty sure it was because of the other day and the lecture we had gotten about sleeping in the same room together.

Taylor however, just sat there rubing his eyes.

I glanced at Molly who in return shot me a look of confusion.

"Give him a few minutes" I said, trying to stand. "Thanks Mol, you know I would've gotten in trouble"

"It's alright. Come on now, get ready. It's beautiful out"

Beautiful? Have I heard her right? Did the one day of rain give in to a glorious day of sunshine? Sorry, I'm a sucker for great weather.

Nearly tripping over the tangled mess which was Taylor I walked to the window and peered outside through the blinds. Yup, the sun was shining. Goody.

"Why is he in our room" Melanie said entering the room, just as Molly was exiting it

I shot her a look "Because he is"

God, sometimes I wish EBay would auction off a new sister in return for an old one.

"And where were you last night?" I asked, knowing the she hadn't slept in here, because her bed hadn't been touched.

"I feel asleep on the couch" she said, stepping over Taylor, who was just begining to wake up "I was watching The Shining last night and fell assleep, kay?"

I held my hands up in defense "Just asking"

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Taylor get up and leave the room. Boy those Hanson boys, not much the talkers in the morning, huh?

About three hours later, we had all decided to take a swim in the pool. As I was walking down the upstairs hallway to my room, Isaac emerged from his, decked out in his trunks.

"Ouch" I said walking past him and immediatly he smiled.

Yay, at least he remembered. At least there was a shread of the old Isaac left in him.

"Okay Ike, don't make fun" I said from in the bathroom

"I promise I won't. Just come out"

And I did, my little eight year old self, emerged out from inside the bathroom in my new checkered bikini.

"Ouch" said Isaac and I shot him a dumbfounded look.

"Do I really look that bad?"

Isaac chuckled "No, Maddy. Ouch meaning you look hot, well, for a eight year old at least"

It was all a joke, but we had kept it going throughout the years. Whenever one of us would do something to improve our looks, the other would show his aprroval by saying, yup you guessed it, "ouch"

"Zac, get me some of that" I said, pulling myself out of the pool and walking over to Zac.

He poured some iced tea in a glass and handed it to me.

"Thanks"

He nodded, and poured himself some.

Sitting on a lawn chair, I surveyed the scene infront of me.

Melanie was floating around the pool in a float, Molly was teaching Macenzie and Melissa how to swim, and all the parents were sitting beside the pool sippng iced tea and chatting.

A smile crossed my face as I saw Taylor and Isaac chase Jessica and Avery around the pool. It was really great to see them get along, even if it was only to amuse their younger siblings.

I heard a chuckle from Zac, who had plopped on the lawn chair next to me and looked over at him.

"Look at them" he said, nudging his head towards Molly and Macenzie and Melissa.

It sure was a sight to chuckle about. Macenzie would float, then sink. Molly would go to help him, while Melissa floated and sunk, followed by Molly going over and helping her. It was quite a funny cycle.

"Oh yeah, Mad" Zac said through dark sun glasses "Some girl called here for you. Morticia or something?"

"Morticia?" I didn't know anyone by that name.

Zac shruged his shoulders "It was something like that"

Hmm .. something like Morticia "Morgan?"

"Yeah. That's it. She said you had her number and to ... call her tomorrow"

"Okay, thanks dude"

It was great to hear that Mogan called. I was a little bummed that I couldn't call her until tomorrow, though. Today was Sunday and I knew she had diving lessons for most of the day. I wouldn't know when to call because of the screwy time difference.

Back home in Tampa, Morgan was my best friend. She filled the gap that Taylor and Isaac had left and overall, she was a great person.

I was snaped out of my thoughts when sprinkles of freezing cold water hit my stomach.

I gasped and opened my eyes which were shielded by a pair of Molly's sunglasses

I looked towards the pool to see Taylor, Avery, Jessica and suprisingly, Isaac smiling back at me.

"Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh" I said standing up "You guys are gonna get it"

I started walking towards the pool, but Zac stoped me.

"Wait for me" he called, and when he reached me grabed my hand.

Together we jumped into the pool and everyone started splashing around.

For a few hours we were all having fun. All getting along, there was absolutly no hostility between any of us. Too bad good things come to an end.
