The CIT Corps is broken down into two weeks. The first of these weeks bieng the basic week. During this first week, the emphasis is to develop leadership skills, as well as a sense of self discipline. During this week, the CIT staff holds sessions, in which these skills are taught. As a basic, your days are full, but yet fufilling as well. With the completion of your baisic week, you move on to the second week, or feild week.
Your feild week is when you train in a certain area of camp. You can train at any area of the camp you chose, providing if is not taken by abother CIT or out of your skill level. During your feild week, you put into play all the leadership and group skills you learned duing your baisic week. You work towards becoming proficient in the area in which you are training during your feild week. The feild week is a little less strenuous, and you are actualy working at a center rather than doing sessions like in your basic week.
During both weeks, however, you employ the skills taught to you during your basic week. Morning routine is still run, and marchin drills are still an everyday occurance. You will still get up at the same time, and go to bed at the same time. There are no extra priveleges either.
