Power Hungry

Without me and my energy,
your radio wouldn't play.
Your flashlight would be useless,
it could never light the way.

Many of your favorite toys
would sit there like a rock.
And you'd never know what time it is
without me in your clock.

Your tape recorder wouldn't keep
a word that you had said.
Your parents car would never start
(just like when I play dead.)

I don't usually like to gamble,
but I would bet big money,
that without me there would not have been
an energizer bunny.
