Join The Party

I spend most of my time running,
but you won't see me go by.
When I am running, I most always
wear a suit and tie.

I want to help our country,
through my work in government,
And sometime pretty soon,
I'll prob'ly run for President.

So when you're a little older
go and cast your vote for me.
If you do, I'll shake your hand
in front of cameras on tv.

The cool part of this job
(besides the chance to rule the nation)
is when people join my party
they don't need an invitation!
