Tools of the Trade

I have tons of cool tools
sitting out on my bench;
a hammer, screwdriver,
some nails and a wrench.

I can turn a bare space
into someplace to stay
or to work or to live
or to learn or to play.

I've got my job nailed
so I really don't see
why my boss keeps
hammering away at me.

My future is solid.
My plans are quite clear.
This is not just a job,
It’s a building career.
