A Key Problem
I've practiced the piano
for just over two years
and still the sounds I make come out
aren't music to my ears.
Every key I dare to touch
sounds like a nauseous cat.
And every song I try to play
sounds even worse than that.
My Yankee Doodle Dandy
sounds a lot like Yankee Rose.
And my Chopsticks immitates the sound
of when I blow my nose.
I keep on taking lessons
on the hopes that I'll improve.
But if I don't get better soon,
my family's gonna move.
I practice through the day and night
but no improvement shows.
I'm not dumb, it's just hard
to play piano with your toes!
