PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE FIRST THRUST AIR 2000!

This is it! Paramount's King's Dominion has officially announced there new coaster plans for 2001! King's Dominion visitors will soon be the first to experience the thrill of a Thrust Air 2000 model coaster designed by S&S Power Inc. - the same great people who brought us the Space Shot and the Turbo Drop, aka: Cedar Point's - Power Tower. Well, before I go on, I think it best to refer you to a review, written by a thrillseeker who has already been lucky enough to have experienced the prototype Thrust Air 2000 - Click Here.

Okay, if you just finished reading that review, then you are probably thinking - what will this new coasters name be?, is it going to be bigger than the prototype?, where will it be positioned in the park? Well, To answer these questions, I have posted the official stats of what will be known as - HyperSonic XLC or HyperSonic: Xtreme Launch Coaster, below. As for that last question, I am not sure of exact placement as of yet, although I have been told that this new coaster is going to be located near Candy Apple Grove, and carry into Wayne's World. Still want to know more? Check out Thrillride's 2001 ride preview by clicking here. I will be updating this page with any new info that comes my way about this ride, also construction photos will be posted here once they become available.
