The third day and Jesus walked
Once more among men
Hey! Did you hear the news?
He's alive! He's been seen again.
Thomas did believe it
Until he touched the holes
Then he was off and shouting
That Jesus is alive and whole.
The word went out fast around the town
This one telling that one and someone
He's alive! I saw him!
He beat death and won!
Oh come on tell everyone
Jesus is alive and well
The cross matters not anymore
Jesus has broken death's spell.
He arose and ascended
At his fathers right hand he sees
All of us down here below him
It's our hearts he seeks.
