As I read his Holy Word
I feel the need to proclaim
Brothers and sisters
Shout his glory and acclaim!
Do not whisper and speak in soft tones
These reserve for rhe dead
Our Lord, Our God is alive on high!
Look at the scriptures instead.
He asks for joy, song, and praise
He's alive! And he hears and he sees!
He is ever faithful
My Lord's love brings me to my knees.
His people should be happy
Rejoicing everyday!
Keep holy on the Lord's day
Rejoicing all the way!
Enter his gates with Thanksgiving!
Come before him in praise
Raise your hands up to him
To our God! To our saviour we pray!
