Christians get together
The time is all so near
Put aside your personal ideas
Draw to God who is so dear.
Read what he wrote to the churches
He told them what not to do
I'll not go there anymore
Jesus and his father are watching you.
Don't you know he's watching?
He wants you to be of one mind
Well christians join together
No matter any religious line.
If you believe in God and his son
Then all should be as one
No! You hold to the old ways
Where will you be when it's done?
I love my father heart, mind and soul
For his people I cry
These poems are written for you
In prayer these words I try.
To get your spiritual eyes open
Let your spiritual ears hear
People of Christ draw together
His return may be very near.
He said to watch and be ready
When he calls his sheep will know
Well listen or not I can't make you
But when my Lord calls I'll go.
