"Mom's Brownies"
Remove teddy bear from oven and preheat oven to 375.
Melt 1 cup margarine in saucepan.
Remove teddy bear from oven again and tell Jr, "No, no!"
Add margarine to 2 cups sugar.
Take shortening can away from Jr. and clean cupboards.
Measure 1/3 cup cocoa.
Take shortening can away from Jr. again and bathe cat.
Apply antiseptic and bandages to scratches sustained while
removing shortening from cat's tail.
Assemble 4 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla, and 1-1/2 cups sifted flour.
Take smoldering teddy bear from oven and open all doors
and windows for ventilation.
Take telephone away from Billy and assure party on the line
that the call was a mistake. Call operator and attempt to have
direct dialed call removed from bill.
Measure 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 cup nuts and beat all ingredients well.
(Resist the temptation to beat Jr)
Let cat out of refrigerator.
Pour mixture into well-greased 9x13-inch pan.
Bake 25 minutes.
Rescue cat and take razor away from Billy. Explain to kids that
you have no idea if shaved cats will sunburn. Throw cat outside
while there's still time, and he's still able to run away.
FROSTING:
Mix the following in saucepan:
1 cup sugar
1 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup margarine
Take the darn teddy bear out of the @#$% broiler and throw it
away -- far away.
Answer the door and meekly explain to nice policeman that you
didn't know Jr had slipped out of the house and was heading
for the street. Put Jr in playpen.
Add 1/3 cup milk, dash of salt, and boil, stirring constantly for 2
minutes.
Answer door and apologize to neighbor for Billy having stuck a
garden hose in man's front door mail slot. Promise to pay for
ruined carpet.
Tie Billy to clothesline.
Remove burned brownies from oven.
Collapse.
"IF YOU LOVE SOMETHING"
If there be love
let it be
If you love something
set it free
If you keep your feelings
deep down inside
You'll feel terrible
for a long, long time
Don't bottle it up
don't keep it inside
Express yourself
and you'll be fine
Remember to always
say what you mean
And your life will be
just like your dreams

THIS IS A HOME WHERE CHILDREN LIVE
You may not find things all in place,
Friend, when you enter here,
But, we're a home where children live,
We hold them very dear.
And you may find small fingerprints,
And smudges on the wall,
When the kids are gone, we'll clean them up,
Right now we're playing ball.
For there's one thing of which we're sure,
These children are on loan.
One day they're always underfoot,
Next thing you know, they're gone.
That's when we'll have a well kept house,
When they're off on their own.
Right now, this is where children live,
A loved and lived in home.
IN ANGELS I BELIVE
I never believed in Angels
Just another fairy tale I was told
Dreams and wishes they too
Were for others to behold
Why should I believe in such silly things
My life would never change
Just because of an Angel with wings
I find that very strange
Little did I realize, an Angel I might need
For I was so tired of the pain of life
And all it's evil deeds
Then one day from way up above
An Angel came to me
God had sent him here
Cause he knew I was in trouble you see
My Angel showed me many things
I never knew before
Of life and love and hope and joy
I learned to trust once more
Oh my dear Angel I love you so
You saved my life that day
With your halo all a glow
And your loving ways
I never believed in Angels
But that has all changed now you see
For I have dreams and wishes again
And my Angel to forever stand by me
