Assateague State Park is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and is known for its "wild" ponies. They aren' t so wild as to be afraid of people and can be seen up close at times. These ponies were picturesquely grazing just behind the sand dunes near the beach parking lot. You can see a 800x600 image here. |
