View of Mountains Sunset and/or sunrise is a beautiful time on the mountains. It's also nice to have reservations for lodging near by. Lodging and campgrounds along the Parkway are available from May through October (except for year round at Peaks of Otter). Other lodging is offered by Rocky Knob Cabins, Bluffs Lodge, and Pisgah Inn. A wide range of accommodations are also available in nearby communities (off the mountains).
